Surfsand Resort and Wayfarer Restaurant, Oceanfront in Cannon Beach, Oregon
We love our time-honored traditions, like the playing of Taps as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean and our staff ceremoniously lowers the flag. A moment of silent reverie is followed by the igniting of the evening's beach bonfire and the ritual cry "Let the party begin!" The kids play hokey pokey and bocce ball in the glow of the setting sun, while adults share opinions on microbrews and regional wines. Dinner is grilled and sweatshirts are donned as marshmallows roast and toes toast. Another day is done at the Surfsand Resort. View rooms and book reservations online at http://www.surfsand.com
