Old Laurelhurst Church
  • For weddings, the church provides a five-hour time slot on wedding day, in addition to a one-hour rehearsal time, dressing rooms for the bride & groom, a snack room, gold-leafed unity candle table, grand piano, Allen computer organ, a quality sound system with CD player holding up to five discs, cassette player, gold-leafed table in foyer & guest book stand.

 

About the Old Laurelhurst Church

Old Laurelhurst Church, located at the center of 32nd and Ankeny in Southeast Portland, is centrally located and conveniently located. The church rose garden and beautiful Laurelhurst Park are favorite sites for wedding photography. 

Built in 1923, Old Laurelhurst Church is an outstanding example of Spanish Colonial Revival-style architecture. With an arcaded entrance, curvilinear gables and domed corner bell towers with round-arched openings, the church features wrought-iron balconet and 11 magnificent cathedral-quality stained glass windows. The live acoustics and warm ambiance provide an intimate feeling complementing the long and stately aisle in the sanctuary, which features the ornate original, wooden beams and trim. 

An independent Christian church, Old Laurelhurst Church seeks to be of service to the community. The church is available for weddings, receptions, concerts, seminars and community events.
