  • Package prices are available when the Liberty Theatre & the McTavish Reception Room are rented together. The McTavish Reception Room rental may also include any or all of the three lobby areas in the theater.

  • Theatre seats 667 plus 10 wheelchairs
  • The McTavish Reception room can accommodate up to 185 persons at a sit down dinner configuration (60” rounds); more when bistro tables are used & one or more of the lobbies are incorporated

An elegant site for your wedding

The Liberty Theatre, in the heart of downtown Astoria, was designed to transport you to a Venetian Palace and is one of Oregon’s best examples of a 1920’s vaudeville-motion picture palace. Opened in 1925, the theater was originally home to vaudeville acts and silent movies.

Recognized by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Liberty Theater recently underwent an $8 million renovation. Operating today as a Performing Arts Center, Concert Hall, Conference Center, Town Hall Meeting venue and an elegant site for Weddings. The theater is perfect for large weddings and the McTavish Reception Room is wonderful for smaller weddings, receptions and rehearsal dinners. Available for rent individually or together as a package.
