The Northwest's most trusted name in wedding planning

Tiffany Blue Portland Art Museum Wedding

We started off our Saturday all jazzed about the Jewish Celebration we were about to attend. We had been waiting almost a year to the day for Christopher and Elizabeth’s wedding at the Portland Art Museum  When the girls show up with a HUGE bottle of Patron and shot glasses with all the girls names on them, you know it’s going to be a party. Elizabeth looked beautiful on the orange couch in the green room on the second floor.

Real Wedding Details

After the girls where put together and fired up, it was time for Allin to pull the boys away from their competitive game of beer pong in the Conference Room and head out for a first glance and bridal party formals. We always shoot a few different poses of our bridal party, but our favorite almost always is when we turn around and let them surprise us with their own poses which goes like this.

Real Wedding- Wedding Party Photos

Christopher, Elizabeth and I took a short stroll across the street before heading back for the ceremony to capture this fun candid style photo under the Schnitz promenade. From there it was time for the ceremony in the Sunken Ballroom at PAM. It was very cool to capture this shared laugh between Grandfather and Grandson during the ceremony as it was very special having the generations share this great moment in family heritage under the chuppah.

Real Wedding: Portland Art Museum

After we all yelled ‘Mazel Tov” We ran right out the door for a walk around the beautiful streets of Portland. In a twenty minute, two block walk we put together so many great shots that I’m still in shock they were back with 15 minutes of downtime before introduction to the reception. After 12 years of doing this gig, I guess we’ve got it down without all the fumbling around that used to gobble up time. Plus these two were naturals:)

Real wedding bridal attire

After a couple more stops, which will be in the example album for sure, we stopped out front of the PAM for one last formal. Love the front of this building, but it requires laying down on the wet pavement half way under a parked car to get it.

The dinner was fantastic and the dancing began. From their first dance to the Hora Dance I don’t believe these two took their eyes off of each other once.

Real Wedding

As the Hora Dance began and the groom felt unsteady one of the gentleman below yells, “Four non-Jewish guys are carrying one jewish guy that has no faith in what we are doing!!!”

Can’t get these shots without a ladder! That’s why it’s a must every time. Can’t wait for another Portland Art Museum Wedding.
