Ed Ryan, of Portland Cigar Company will also be in attendance showing his unique engraved cigars. We’ve said this many times here at Bravo! but every bride is different and different is good. Committed! Portland’s Alternative Bridal Event is a fun and casual showcase of talented vendors for couples looking for something less along the lines of a traditional wedding. Curated by Luxe Event Productions, this bridal show is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday October 21st at The Ambridge Event Center and will feature innovative Style Scenes, cool, unique ideas and plenty of amazing vendors.

Style Scenes will includes themes like Moonshine Southern Wedding, Day of the Dead Wedding, Eco Friendly Wedding, Punk Rock Wedding, 80s Vintage Wedding plus more. Additionally, there will be two fashion shows at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. which are sure to be nothing close to ordinary. This show is sponsored by Le Coookie Monkey, Black Label Films, Ambridge Events Center, Mosco Photo, Oregon Bride Magazine, yours truly (Bravo! Publications) and many more.

This class, tailored specifically to the needs of those who attend, will focus on helping brides who have chosen not to have a Wedding Planner or Day-Of Coordinator and are needing assistance with the details of their planning, including setting into place a timeline to ensure their wedding runs smoothly.

We are collection picture and story books for ages 3-6 in both English & Spanish. The children’s book bank is working to promote early literacy through head start and other programs. Let the countdown begin! On April 28, ISES Portland will knock your argyle socks off at the much-anticipated 2011 Pimp My Warehouse. We’re taking all of what makes Portland such a uniquely creative and individualist city, and cramming these ‘things we love’ into a reassembled hip, urban warehouse. Think hodge-podge. Think Portland deconstructed.

Every year ISES hosts an event to transform a warehouse space into an elegant and fun evening. This year event gurus from around the city will partner up to plan for an exciting event at the new BodyVox warehouse space. On April 28th you can come for a fun evening celebration of all that is Portland and see the best in event design, lighting, and food. Once the ISES event wraps for the night, the Children’s Book Bank will take over for day 2 of Pimp My Warehouse and will be hosting their first ever benefit “Balderdash!”.
