Gourmet Productions’ Tour Du Monde – Food Drive for the Oregon Food Bank
April 15, 2011Next week (April 18-22) Gourmet Productions in Lake Oswego will be holding a food drive for the Oregon Food Bank in an effort to fight hunger on a local level and bring awareness to this worldwide social concern. Gourmet Productions’ chefs are creating a special market menu for the week to include many culinary delights from around the world to get customers thinking about hunger in other countries and perhaps a growl in their own tummy.

African Peanut
Hot & Sour (Asia)
Pozole (Mexico)
Italian Wedding
Middle Eastern Lentil
Entrees (available all week long):
Bastilla (Africa)
Shrimp on the Barbie (Australia)
Jerk Salmon with Caribbean Salsa
Beef Stroganoff (Europe)
Bulgogi (Korean)
European Desserts:
Monday – Viennese Apple Tart
Tuesday – Tiramisu
Wednesday – Lemon-Spongecake Roulade w/Berry Sauce
Thursday – Hazelnut Marjolaine (Gluten Free)
Friday – Black Forest Cheesecake
Customers bringing in at least two cans or boxes of non-perishable food will receive a small packet of Organic Rainbow Quinoa seeds to plant! Most wanted food donations include canned meats, canned vegetables & fruit, canned and boxed meals, peanut butter, dried beans or peas, pasta, rice, cereal and 100% fruit juice.
